Ladies and Gentlemen,
it is time for you to travel, meet new people and learn new things.
The 24th Vietnam School of Physics (VSOP-24), dedicated to particle physics, with an important introductory lecture to Cosmology and Dark Matter, will be organized in the beautiful city of Quy Nhon, Vietnam, 20 – 31 August 2018.
Registration deadline: 3 June 2018
Scientific program includes:
1) Standard Model (SM): Margarete Muehleitner (KIT, Germany), 7 lectures.
3) Cosmology and Dark Matter: Changbom Park (KIAS, Korea), 7 lectures.
4) QCD: Gudrun Heinrich (MPI, Germany), 6 lectures.
5) Beyond SM: Felix Bruemmer (Univ. of Montpellier, France), 6 lectures.
6) Introduction to Monte-Carlo Event Generators: Stefan Gieseke (KIT, Germany), 6 lectures.
Exercises on each of these topics are envisioned. Each lecture lasts 90 minutes.
Students, who are curious to know how the tiniest particles behave and how to understand our universe, are encouraged to apply.
